The lock lives inside the token.
Not a wallet plugin. Not a blocklist bot. Spectron coins carry their lock inside the token's own program. It reads every outflow before a single token moves, so it works in every wallet and on every site, even after you sign the wrong thing.
How the lock works ↓One bad signature, two tokens.
A drainer never breaks your wallet. It gets one signature, and on an ordinary token one signature is everything.

Every outflow has a spectrum.
Spectron doesn't ask whether a transaction was signed. A drainer always has that. It reads what the transaction is shaped like, then decides how much of it can leave.
- 01
A wallet signs
A transfer, an approval, a close. Maybe it's you, maybe it's a drainer holding your signature. The token can't tell, so it doesn't try.
- 02
The token holds the door
The Spectron token program calls its lock before a single balance changes. At this point nothing has moved.
- 03
The lock reads the spectrum
Five readings of the outflow: how much, to whom, how new that address is, what already left today, and who signed.
- 04
One answer, enforced
Through, capped, held, snared or refused. The token program applies it in the same instruction. No admin can switch it off.

Locked inside the token address.
There's no wallet to install and no list to keep up with. The lock is part of the coin itself, so every copy of the coin, in every wallet, carries it.
The lock check
Lives inside the token program. Runs before any token leaves a wallet, and before any approval is written.

Liquidity and fees, in a program vault with no key to steal.
Five answers, one spectrum.

Let it through
Swaps, known addresses and small sends move instantly. Most days, you never notice the lock.

Cap it
“Unlimited” approvals are rewritten to a few percent that expire within the hour.

Hold it
Big moves to fresh addresses wait in escrow. Time or your guardian opens it.

Send it home
Your guardian passkey calls a hold back. The drainer's key can't cancel the recall.

Snare it
A recalled address joins the snare list and is blocked on every Spectron coin.
Touch your keys.
Change who owns your account.
Move what you didn't send.
The token program checks every answer. There is no admin key to turn it off.
Watch the lock stop a drain.
Five tricks real drainers use, run against a wallet holding a Standard-locked coin. Pick one, play the holder who signs it by mistake, and watch the lock protect the wallet in real time.

2 · Sign it by mistake (it's fake)

A lock keeps drains small. The restitution pool makes small drains whole. 88.4 SOL paid out so far, no forms, no Discord tickets.
Recall
Your guardian calls the hold home. The destination is written to the snare list with the recall as proof.
Match
The restitution program finds every outflow to that address in the last 72 hours, on any Spectron coin.
Repay
Matched losses are paid from the pool in the same coin, up to the Standard window. Anyone can crank it for a small bounty.
Three locks to start from.
Every coin picks a spend shape at launch. Holders can tighten their own wallet further; nobody can loosen it past the coin's rules. Each grid is 100 tokens a drainer just got you to sign away.

The ones everybody asks.
What does “inside the token” actually mean?+
Most drain protection lives in a wallet or a browser extension, so it only helps if you use that wallet. Spectron's lock is part of the coin's own token program. Every transfer of the coin, from any wallet, on any site, has to pass it. There's nothing to install and nothing to forget.
If the drainer has my signature, can't they just cancel the hold?+
No. A hold has two ways out: the timer runs down, or your guardian recalls it. There is no instruction that lets the signing wallet shorten, cancel or redirect its own hold, so a stolen signature is worth exactly the spend shape and nothing more.
What's a guardian?+
A second key that only exists to say “that wasn't me”. By default it's a passkey on your phone, set up the first time you hold a Spectron coin. It can't spend, it can't trade, it can only recall a hold and snare an address. Lose it and you can rotate it after a 72-hour notice period.
Does this slow down trading?+
Swaps into a coin's own pool are never held, and the pool is the only place most holders send tokens. The lock only steps in for wallet-to-wallet transfers to addresses it has never seen, above your daily allowance.
I'm moving to my own new wallet. Do I wait 30 minutes?+
Either wait out the hold, or tap “approve” on your guardian and it settles at once. You can also pre-register a destination; after the notice period it counts as known.
Can the creator rug the liquidity?+
There's nothing to rug with. LP tokens are minted straight into the coin's vault, a program account with no private key, no admin and no upgrade authority. The creator's share streams from trading fees and vests; it can't be pulled at once.
Is this a blocklist?+
Only at the very end. The lock reads the shape of an outflow (how much, to whom, how new, how fast), so it stops brand-new drainers no list has heard of. The snare list only adds addresses that a guardian actually recalled from.
Lock it in the token.
Launch a coin with the lock built in, or write your own spend shape with the SDK: tighter windows for team wallets, looser ones for market makers, a hold that grows with size, a guardian that's a multisig. Test it against real drainer patterns in the Workshop first.
